If you are interested in getting into the rotary F sound but scared of the low register, this horn would be a great place to start. This instrument is in beautiful playing condition. Cosmetically, it has wear consistent with being played pretty actively. There are a few spots in the lacquer, and a couple of dents in the bottom bow (one shown in picture, the other is basically identical). Slides and valves are all in fantastic condition, and the horn plays indistinguishably from a new one (I’ve compared). If you haven’t tried one of these, they are very close to point and shoot - among the friendliest of rotary F tubas. Ultrasonic cleaning about 9 months ago.
