In perfect shape basically, the rim width just too small for me, I'm beginning to realize I really need to still with wider rims.

"Fossil"? Alessandro Fossi is in his early 40s -- 20 years younger than I am. I certainly don't consider him a "fossil" ... and, evidently, neither does Giddings:
