WTB Besson MP or bit

Post by Boomer »

I have just acquired a Besson tuba after not playing for many years.

I understand that it requires a special mouthpiece, or there are bits that allow use of standard American MP.

I would like to purchase either, or both.

The make and type of MP is irrelevant at this point as I am just trying to establish a baseline.

I'm in N. Ga. but have no problem paying postage or whatever it takes to get here.

I started on a well used Besson school horn and I remember that it had bits, but I thought that was just to get the MP down to my 4th grade self. Pretty sure we used standard MP but that was a long time ago.
