For sale or trade: 60s Mirafone 186 BBb Recording bell tuba. Bell is original to the horn. Plays well. Linkage a little noisy. Lacquer is almost all gone. $2000 (plus shipping) - located in the Phoenix, AZ area. Payment by cashiers check. Not able to play in the area and this is a good ensemble horn. I bought one of these (also from Arizona) last spring, and it’s been fun. I got an upright bell made for it (from Dan Schultz), so it fits with modern indoor ensembles (and in a soft case), but the recording bell is nice for playing outside.
