FS: Gronitz PCK 6/4 CC Tuba

Post by simon.lenoe »

Hi everyone!

I am also selling my Gronitz PCK 6/4 Unlacquered CC Tuba, for $12,000 OBO. The horn comes with an Altieri gig bag.

I bought this horn in 2017 at the beginning of my studies at Carnegie Mellon University, from a CMU alumnus studying at IU at the time. It's a great big CC tuba that is lighter weight, but still yields a large sound. This PCK is one of the older Gronitz horns with thinner plating. It has a raw brass finish and York-style lead pipe, as well as MAW valves, which makes this horn more agile than some PCKs. There are some minor dents on the bell.

I'm looking at a career change, so unfortunately I'm not accepting trades at this time.

The horns are currently located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. If you are interested in giving it a try, please PM me or shoot me an email at slenoe@andrew.cmu.edu" target="_blank" target="_blank. You can also reach me by text at 585-771-0459.

Here is a link to some photographs of the tuba on Google Drive:

Please let me know if the link does not work

Thanks everyone!
