I am helping a friend sell his Hirsbrunner HB-10 (Serial # 99262) large bore F tuba. The horn is in near showroom condition. Four pistons and one rotor. Original owner. Selected from a number of horns at Custom Music back in the day.

If you are familiar with Hirsbrunner then you know the quality of craftsmanship that comes along with this brand and how hard these can be to find. The horn is in pretty much showroom condition. Silver is completely intact and brilliant. There are no dents, scrapes, blemishes, etc. It has great intonation and response. All slides move, the has strong compression in the valves and has, by far, the best piston valves on any tuba I’ve ever played in the 46 years I’ve been playing. This horn works great in quintet, chamber, orchestra and solo settings. The low range is unreal and the high register just sings. $12,000 + shipping. Horn is located in Southeast Michigan. Comes with a gig bag. PM me with your email for pictures.

Addendum: I had originally listed this horn as an HB-12. I was mistaken. It is an HB-10. Slightly smaller than the HB-12 but still a large bore F Hirsbrunner.
