FS: PT-10P F tuba $6,500
Hello Tubenet,
I currently have a PT-10P (Piston version of the PT-10) I purchased it in 2019 used from Baltimore Brass for. It’s leadpipe was replaced and raised by David Fedderly when it was in his shop. My PT-10P is a truly fantastic horn, a few common tuning quarks that I've gotten around with alternate fingerings with no problem. The low register feels very open and free (more than my 45SLP before it), the tone I get from it as well is a really characteristic big F sound. I have found that the horn is not mouthpiece picky, I've experimented with the PT-64/65, Laskey 28/30C, and currently I play a Laskey 28H on it. Really love the warm sound I get from it.
The reason I'm looking to sell my horn is because when I play it for extended periods of time I get an intense pain in my wrist, no matter how I try holding the horn I still get the pain. (I have arthritis from 4 years of drum corps in my wrists) After playing on a rotor valve horn today I realized it would be wise for me to make the switch to rotors. Pics below. Thanks!

Do you still have this? Would you be willing to trade for a rotor PT10?
