Hello! Sad to be parting with this beauty, but wanting to find it a good home.

Excellent condition, with some modifications I've done over the years to make it play more to what I like:
- The lead pipe was made custom by Daniel Oberloh to better promote a focused tone.
- Titanium-coated valve caps to decrease weight while playing.
- Removed the spit valves, as the horn carries water in spots that didn't have a spit valve, anyway (better tone, same water situation as before).
- The horn also has a black Cronkhite bag, as well as a hard case fitted for it specifically.
Asking $old. Located in the Portland, OR area. Thank you!

It's gorgeous. I'm curious if the distinction "Cooley" makes it different from other Nirschl Yorks (?).

Not in particular. It’s mainly a distinction to identify that the horn is made to be a replica of one of the two Yorks that are now owned by the Chicago Symphomy.

What year was this made? What valve section does it have in it - Meinlschmidt, Weril or even earlier?

Hopefully, they weren't made in Marktneukirchen. Notorious for rough valve guides.
