SOLD: Conn 2J CC Tuba

Post by lowtones425 »

Hi folks,

For sale is my Conn 2J CC tuba.

This horn is a great player, and punches far above its weight class, so to speak.

Asking price is $2,750.00 but I am certainly open to hearing offers. Horn is located in the Boston area (specifically Plymouth, MA).

In a fantasy world, I'd also be open to trading for a 6/4 BBb tuba (Holton, BMB, ZO)... But that may have to remain a fantasy for now)

SOLD

Absolutely no shipping (with all the horror stories I've read I don't trust any of the available shippers) and I'd prefer local pickup, but I will drive a reasonable distance to sell the tuba... probably about 200 miles give or take.

I'll attach some pictures below, but am also happy to make a video or two if you so desire.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions about the horn.

Thank you,

Ben R

Does this tuba have nickel plating inside the bell?

Hi there, apologies for the belated reply.

The tuba does not have nickel plating inside the bell, but rather what appears to be the same lacquer as the rest of the horn.

Thank you,

Ben

How tempting! These horns don't come up often, and they're great little tubas. Good luck on the sale!
