SOLD: B&S PT9G - $7500

Post by Ansarum »

Hi All,

Looking to sell my PT9G. Purchased around 2013 from Joe Ready, Horn was owned by Norm Pearson and Josh Wirt before that.

Horn is all gold brass. Plays evenly throughout all registers, has an exceptional mid to low register in comparison to a lot of other German style F's that I've played. One important thing to note: one of the braces connecting the main tuning slide to the bottom bow on the valve side of the horn is currently snapped, however this does not cause any rattling or sound issues as the tuning slide is still touching the brace. It should be a simple re-solder job, but wanted to call that out for anyone interested.

Asking price is $7500, and includes the following:
-Walt Johnson Hard case
-Extra raw brass lead pipe, older "Symphonie" taper
-Extra 6th valve slide, changes 6th to a flat third
-Extra 6th valve paddle, can convert horn from a 5+1 to a 4+2

Horn is currently located in Detroit, MI. Willing to ship, but buyer pays the cost. I'm also willing to travel a reasonable distance for anyone seriously interested.

Currently not interested in any trades.
