This horn has the clarity of a Thor with the mass of a Fafner. I have played several over the years and none of them play as well as this one. It is highly efficient with great pitch, very even blow, and a great sound that blends remarkably well with trombone sections. I am the third owner. I just cleaned the instrument recently, though I didn’t polish the silver. There is one indentation on the back of the horn about the size of a dime that isn’t very deep, but other than that the instrument is completely damage-free. The valves are fast with a very short throw. Only modification was replacing the stock water key with a Saturn (polished silver to match horn) water key.

The instrument is currently with me in Chicago.
