I am selling my Holton BB460 Collegiate BBb 4-Valve Tuba. Asking $6200 CAD, (approx. $4510 USD).
It was purchased new in Feb. 2015, after sitting unsold for a couple years, and was played in a local band for only six months before my disability worsened. I had intended to return to playing after my three hip surgeries, however new nerve issues in my hands have made that impossible. Despite my short time with this tuba, it served me well and I greatly enjoyed the experience.
The instrument was ultrasonically cleaned and serviced in May and had both the waterkey corks and valve felts replaced. It was appraised at Near-Mint condition with minor cosmetic damage and one dent. The molded hard shell case is in great shape and is very helpful for transporting the instrument around. A Holton 18 mouthpiece is included if desired.

The tuba is located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I am able to drive two hours (Montreal or halfway to Toronto) for Canadians, or to the Canadian side of the Three Nations Crossing (Cornwall, ON – Massena, NY), the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge, or the Thousand Islands Bridge (Ivy Lea, ON - Orleans, NY) for Americans in the northeast. I am willing to ship at the buyer’s expense for people located further away.
