FS:Miraphone 291 Bruckner

Post by marz »

After 60 years, I have decided to retire from playing and am selling off my horns. Please check out my listings for my Conn 3J CC tuba, Eastman 853S Eb tuba and Getzen 1062FD bassbone. I purchased my new Miraphone model 291 Bruckner CC tuba in 2019. It is a 5/4 tuba with an 18.5 inch bell, 5 rotary valves, lacquered yellow brass bell, nickel silver leadpipe and a conical valve section bore of 0.803-0.835. The bag is a custom from Glenn Cronkhite. It is in excellent shape. I tried out a number of Bruckners and this one was by far the best. It plays well in tune, and for me, had a big beautiful sound. The instrument is in wonderful shape with only a few very minor blemishes. I live in the Chicago area and would be willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet. I'm asking $9000. This was my main horn over the past few years and I enjoyed every minute I got to play it. PM me or email me at bmarz57@yahoo.com if you have questions.
