This has seen some institutional use, with a dent in the upper bow and other signs of repair. Patches on the back of the bell, dents and dings, linkage a bit clicky. When I got this instrument, the mouthpipe was a replacement and it fit poorly and the receiver was jacked up. I am replacing that with a brass one of similar vintage. It is currently dry-fit and the tuba plays wonderfully.
I went over this with my repairman a few months ago to get the tuba playable and the bell straight again, but I didn't get the upper bow karate chop off due to my budget at the time.
I'd like $1,500 but am open to reasonable offers. Includes a very heavy wooden case if you'd like it. I'd rather not ship this tuba, but I can (without case). Pickup in southeastern CT or around New England/NYC Metro area is preferable.
