Hello! Hoping to find this beauty a good home. I no longer play, and this horn deserves to be in use.
Photo album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/kizQ14fZmVfe7fNp7
Converted from a 6/4 Eb J.W. York and Sons, this tuba was rebuilt and customized by the late Bob Rusk. The rebuild included a new 4 piston, 1 rotor valve block, custom lead pipe and tuning slide, complete dent removal of body, large extra engravings on the
bell, and a new silver plate finish. Truly a one of a kind horn.
Plays beautifully, adopting the resonance of a much larger horn due to its origins.
Comes with a Brown Cronkhite bag (pardon the cat hair in the picture), and handmade foam spacer for a more snug fit.
Asking $5k obo. Located in the Portland, OR area. Pickup is highly preferred.
Happy to answer any questions. Thank you!
Edit: CC/EEb typo in original post.

I'm curious as to how your (gorgeous) York Monster Eb, while obviously nicely redone by Mr. Rusk, was ever a 6/4 CC. The bell and bottom bow were shared between the Monster Eb front as well as top action and the York model 33 (4/4 BBb top action), The rest of the Monster Eb bugle is, well, Eb. Mr. Rusk did some amazing work and that horn looks wonderful, but I'd be quite surprised if it started out as anything other than a Monster Eb.
Can you give some more details of its past history?

I had an original York monster Eb a number of years ago. I have attached a photo. The body of yours looks very similar to this, although the valve tubing is different. Mine had a great sound, but it needed a valve job. Yours looks great and I'm sure plays as good as it looks. Good luck selling it.

Bumping this for you because that extra engraving is gorgeous! If you were closer to SoCal I would be interested!

I'm wondering if the OP has this backwards and if this isn't a CC horn that was converted from a 6/4 Eb? Very much seems to resemble that based on the pictures.
