Up for sale is a BBb cimbasso that was formally owned by Phil Teele and Ido Meshulam.
This cimbasso has two different bells and lead pipes compatible with it, one lead pipe takes an American tuba shank mouthpiece, and the other a small shank trombone mouthpiece. The original setup is the small shank mouthpiece with a more compact sounding bell, and the modified setup is a freer blowing larger former G baritone bugle bell with the American tuba mouthpiece shank receiver.
The valves on the body were former bass trombone rotary valves, and have fast action.
There has been a trigger added on the main tuning slide for tuning, which is operated with the left hand.
Comes with case that holds all components.
This beast has a large sound and is not for the faint of heart.
Here are some videos of it in action.
