SOLD: Besson New Standard 3+1 Compensating Euphonium

Post by NBischoff »

For sale is a Besson New Standard compensating euphonium from the early 1970s. This euphonium won't win any beauty contests, but is an excellent player and has that classic Besson sound. Valves are quick with good compression and slides all pull. It is missing the clip that holds the 4th valve down for storage, that is how I received the instrument, but the valve will be secured for shipping. This euphonium also has a large (bass trombone) shank mouthpiece receiver. This is a great horn for a doubler (like me), college or high school student looking for their first compensating euphonium, or just someone looking for a good compensating euphonium without breaking the bank. Will also include a Protec gig bag.

$1850+ shipping to the CONUS
