Mouthpiece clearing (SOLD)

Post by MDeWeesTuba »

Selling 3 mouthpieces I don’t use anymore to save for a Laskey 30G. Will accept trades for said mouthpiece.

Loud LM-12: Very shallow mouthpiece. I used it primarily playing gigs where I needed to imitate a bass trombone. $150 SOLD

Olka CB2: Normal funnel cup. Primarily used on sousaphone while I was in marching band. $80 SOLD

Laskey Protogé: Smaller funnel cup. Won this during the 12 days of Laskey. Does not fit my playing style. $100 SOLD

I’ll take $300 for the entire batch. Buyer pays for shipping.

Yes, if is. I used it for gigs where a Bass Trombone sound was more appropriate but I didn’t play bass at the time. I plugged it into my f tuba and it brightened up the tone a lot and gave me more “power” for a lack of a better term.

I found this mouthpiece to be most useful for the mentioned purpose, Banda, and New Orleans style Jazz. When I first bought it I thought it was “louder” and could match the volume of the senior tuba players in the university marching band. I was wrong, and only got called out from the box for not matching the section’s tone. I got put in a box for a year because of that, and obviously it got sold. OC I don’t know what you have planned, but this is just my findings.
