SOLD: BMB J-445 F Tuba - $2800 OBO

Hello,

Looking to sell my BMB J-445 F tuba. Used for a few years during my undergrad, but selling because I've finally accepted I prefer rotary valves on my concert tubas for ergonomic reasons, and because of this I do all of my gig work on my other horns. Hard case and gig bag both included, as well as the mouthpiece that came with it (helleberg).

I am the horn's first owner, purchased in 2021 and it was previously used as the demo horn in the shop. There's a sizable dent in the bell, as well as the handle to make convenient adjustments on one slide has come unsoldered. I never got around to taking it to the shop as I haven't really played the horn in a few years, but I will send everything in case the future owner wishes to get that fixed. Mechanically, the horn works perfectly fine, all the slides and valves move great. This is a very free blowing 5 valve piston F tuba, with a phat low range for a bass tuba.

Located in Las Vegas, NV, willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet up or ship at buyer's expense and risk. Looking for $2800 USD or best offer.
