This horn has more resonance and fundamental than any BBb you'll find in the new-horn market. It will shake rafters and it will resonate in rooms that do not resonate. This has actually happened.
Why am I selling it? Because for 15 years I played CC. I had to quit playing for medical reasons in 2000 and made the mistake of selling my horn. When I started to play again, this was the best-sounding horn I could find anywhere. I played 3050's, 1291's, 2165's, you name it, and thought they were all stuffy by comparison. I played Yorkbrunners that I thought weren't as resonant. So, again, why am I selling it? Because it's an awesome BBb horn, but I don't want a BBb horn, and I thought I'd see if anyone was interested before I have it cut. If I sell it, there's something else I want to buy very badly (that's in CC).
If you have any questions or would like any more pictures, email/pm me for pics and details. To answer a question already asked, the appearance of the metal in the picture is affected by a recent polishing and the effect of the flash on swirls that weren't visible to the naked eye. The horn is mostly unlacquered.
How much am I asking? WAY less than what a comparable new horn would be, but enough to get out of it what I've got in it. I'm including a hard case with wheels.
The other horn in the last picture is a Willson 3200 F.
