Wanted: Flight Cases

Post by TTkatz »

Hey all--

After having my Yamaha F (621) nearly destroyed by United Airlines over Christmas break, I'm in the market for a heavy duty flight case for it. Also willing to listen to ideas for a way to build one.

Also wanted: Flight case for my Besson 995 CC tuba.

I can't believe that we have to buy flight cases (most of which cause you to pay an overweight/oversize fee) because the airlines just can't read the "fragile" stickers.

Sorry to hear about your horn...

But you've got it wrong, they can read just fine! They just don't care...

Unfortunatley if you must travel with your horn you probably should have a good flight case, it's well worth the investment.

Goodluck!
