Hi! This is one of the beloved tubas of my uncle, who recently passed away. Price is based on what an appraiser friend advised, and reasonable offers are welcomed, especially if you don’t need it shipped. I am new here, so I’m trying to figure out how to add photos. I’ll add them ASAP. Below are my uncle’s notes and description of the horn:

Notes:
I have wanted to try a Cerveny 783/Arion/Opera for years and even considered buying a Chinese copy that many claim are “pretty good”. When this “real thing” was offered on eBay I grabbed it and it far exceeds my expectations: quite easy to play, flawless intonation, great tone, perfect ergonomics – everything one could ask for.

This one is a stencil, engraved “Musica” for Steyer Austria.

In exellent+ condition, if one looks closely there are faint signs of lacquer wear – that has been professionally buffed and re-lacquered but otherwise is flawless.
