Here is a great playing Besson Eb 3+1 compensating tuba. It has lacquer loss pretty much all over - but is mechanically sound. Valves are good, slides all move well, and the horn is clean. Why am I selling it? I have TWO Bessons from 1974 and can only play one at a time. I will keep the cosmetically nicer one (and it's silver plate). $1600 with no case. I can include a Superfine bag for $300 more.

Tom, does this 1974 model have the small receiver that requires the old and small Besson shank? . . . Also, is that a 15" bell (it looks a tad smaller than the 17" bell to me)?

Barry, I should have mentioned all that in my post! The bell is 15" and it takes the small shank. The Wick 1 thru 5 (no L) work well.
