MPs FS: Giddings, PT, Doug Elliot, Shires

Selling off my lesser used mouthpieces, add $10 for shipping.

Kelly 18- only used a couple of times, $15

Miraphone TU-26 Euro- same specs as Alan Baer original C and made by giddings. Some insertion marks but otherwise perfect condition, $120

Giddings and Webster Alan Baer MMVI F- a little bit of wear on the rim, but nothing serious, essentially brand new condition, $120 (SOLD)

Doug Elliot- Rims: TU 132, TU 130 N(narrow)
Shank: Medium (perantucci style), F
Cup: TU-N (for bass tuba)
Shank and cup are a package deal, $80. Rims are $20 each
All components $110 (SOLD)

Pt-64- could use a polish, but in great condition otherwise, $70

Pt-48- could also use a polish, insertion marks from regular use, and very small plating wear on the rim, $50

Shires 9- essentially brand new, played for one rehearsal, $80

Shires 2E- was in perfect condition until it took a spill while I was cleaning it today, other than that it was only used a handful of times, $50 (SOLD)

I tried Pickett, I tried Shires in Boston . . I can't get ANY information on Shires tuba mouthpieces. Are the lower numbers bigger and the high numbers smaller, or is it more complicated than just that? Since your 2E has already sold, what can you tell me about the Shires 9 (?).

I may be looking for something small to use on a Besson 983 in a British brass band context. Also, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it were a good match for my Wessex F cimbasso as well.
