For sale is a Mienl Weston 2145
I am the second owner of this of fantastic horn bought in 2019 from a player who was retiring. It has served me well in my current orchestra and band ensembles, my college auditions and has advanced me in a few military auditions.

This is a very versatile and great do-it-all horn designed in cooperation with Sam Pilafian. It gives the player a surprising amount of power and projection needed in a large ensemble, while still providing dexterity and clarity needed in chamber groups. I personally use it in Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Philharmonia, and in my quintet here at the University of Cincinnati. It’s also a great horn for recording. I have recorded many military band auditions and advanced because of the clarity I can achieve with the horn. The pistons are extremely smooth and agile and the horn maintains an even sound and tone throughout all of the registers and has a solid and easy low range.

Horn has been maintained and recently serviced this past spring. Horn has some cosmetic dings and scratches on the bell, but no major dents. Mostly a raw brass finish .

Horn comes with Protec gig bag and the original Melton 24AW that came with the horn.

I personally use an original Laskey 28H that works fantastically that I could sell with the horn for a little extra. Around $150
