Thank you for the compliment! I'm actually posting a new post under a different thread explaining why I'm looking for a new horn, but the long and short of it is that I'm needing to get a new bass tuba because I've developed a fairly severe case of carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists, which especially impacts my ability to hold up the horn with my left hand for longer periods of time. If not for that, I'd be keeping this horn for good! I'm leaning towards sticking with Eb, but I'd be happy to switch for the right F tuba. I played F tuba for as long as I've played Eb, so I don't mind the switch. There is something magical about a good Eb, though!barry grrr-ero wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 12:41 pm OK, far be it for me to stick my nose into your business, but . . . . You sound really good on that eefer. Few F tubas are going to lend you that richness of tone, or that big of a dynamic range. I think that bell really works on it.
