Hey gang - these are the same 'pieces I've had for sale for the last year or two, now (finally) updated with a couple of new additions.
All prices are OBO. I'm not looking for any trades right now, except maybe a Chief or a Dr. Young or something else unique or interesting.

Brand, Model, Shank Type, Condition (out of 10), Price. Notes
  • Besson, "13" - I think this is a large shank trombone or euphonium piece; came with a Besson small shank tuba I bought, and it fit in the small shank receiver, very deeply IIRC. 5/10, $20. Shank tip out of round and a bit rough, will true up as best I can before shipping. Heavy insertion wear on shank, some brass showing. Moderate/heavy shallow scratching on rim surface. Moderate pitting on rim surface and one small bare brass spot just outside contact area. -Not quite in paperweight territory, yet.
    .
  • Taylor Music/Universal/Unbranded, 24AW, Standard/American, 9.5/10, $25, only light insertion marks. Used once or twice. Rim contour appears very close to Bach design.
    .
  • Yamaha, 67C4, Standard/American, 5, $20. Shank slightly out of round, will true up before shipping. Moderate/heavy insertion wear on shank, no brass showing. Moderate/heavy shallow scratching on rim surface. Moderate pitting on rim surface. A couple of micro nicks on rim surface. Backup or glovebox mouthpiece -Not quite in paperweight territory, yet.
Located in Tucson, AZ, USA. Payment by Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. Please add $8 for First Class Postage to CONUS only.
I am only leaving the house a couple times a week for essential errands, so please expect a few business days' handling time.

Note: Condition ratings are subjective, but conservative and honest. I do not set my mouthpieces on stands or the floor, ever. The ones I use on a regular basis are kept in pouches and washed after each use. Obviously, I receive used mp's in whatever condition they are in, but they are taken proper care of once I own them. Short version, I take good care of my stuff. Now get off my lawn.

Thanks for looking,

The Besson 13 is a British small shank tuba mouthpiece. Yes, it is similar to a modern bass trombone shank. I used to own an old Besson New Standard 3-valve comp tuba. These tubas had the smaller receiver. Denis Wick still makes as standard stock items mouthpieces to fit these older receivers, the number series without any suffix. I used a Wick 1 with that tuba.
