Wessex 6/4 CC Sold!

Post by TheodoreSmith »

This is a very interesting tuba. It started life as a Wessex showroom tuba with a bell made out of sterling silver. The bell was severely damaged due to an airliner. A Kanstul bell was put on it instead. I think the new bell is a tonal improvement over the Wessex bell. The bell is soldered to the stack. Has a great yorkish sound.
20 inch bell.
Custom finger buttons.
Comes with a nice condura Cronkite gigbag.

Look at photos to see dent in bottom bow.

Feel free to ask any question!
