I am selling my handmade 6/4 B&S Symphonie F tuba as I need the money for a surgery for my dog. I spoke with Bob Tucci on this horn and he described it as “ a Golden Oldie” and dated it to early/ Mid 1960s production. I had the B&S factory make and send me a new rotary valve section, leadpipe, and mounting bar. All these parts were installed by Mike Morse in North Carolina. I have the original parts from the horn including the clock spring rotors should you want to put it back on the horn. Please no lowball offers and no shipping outside of USA. I would prefer local pickup if not buyer pays shipping. Comes with a black superfine gig bag. Not interested In trades unless it is a trade plus cash. Tuba is located in Boca Raton FL https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xc56w8ln9mlr ... -A3oa?dl=0

Thanks everyone! I would normally never sell an amazing instrument like this but I need to make sure my dog is taken care of. UPDATE : she needs a $4k ACL surgery so I’m more motivated to sell.

We have a dog that had the ACL surgery. It was completely successful. A year and a half later the other back leg needed it too. Completely successful also. It’s been a couple years and she is doing great. Just thought you might like to hear if a success story.

Hope all goes well.

Thanks all that wished my dog luck! She had her surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. Pup is not happy being in a crate at 10 years young but she’s accepting treats as a compromise!
