[SOLD] WTS/WTT: B&S PT6(R) - Canada (preferred) or US

Hi all,
I have a PT6 made in 1996, purchased used from Baltimore Brass in 2007. It has a rose brass leadpipe, new valve linkage purchased from Bob Tucci in 2014 and installed by Ron Partch in Toronto.
This instrument has served me incredibly well over the past decade plus, however I'm looking for something that's a bit more suitable for orchestral work (where I do the majority of my playing). I've played this horn in the symphonies of Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, and more, but I have also had great success with it in chamber and studio settings.
This horn is unique the the PT6's I've tried in that it's from a time where the brass used seems to be thinner - it's noticeably lighter than newer models. It resonates incredibly well, and is in great shape. The only thing to mention condition wise is the finish - some of the lacquer is wearing off, but this isn't unlike other German horns I've owned/played that were made in that time period. The finish has no effect on sound or playing characteristics - but might not appeal to someone looking for something new and shiny. This would be the perfect horn for a college student or young professional looking for an instrument that has incredible versatility and reliability.
The selling price for this horn is currently set at $12,000 CDN (Negotiable). Photos available on request. Happy to consider a trade + cash for an Eastman 836, Baer 6450 or similar. Would be willing to drive considerable distance in order to play test and exchange safely - I'm currently based out of Winnipeg MB.
