Eb York bell/King valves for trade

Post by hookey37 »

Here is a York bell, King 2341 valve section, pitched in Eb and built by Matt Walters of Dillon Music. It's a cool horn that plays well, especially with this 5th valve extension. I'm looking to move back to the contrabass world so I'm interesting in trading for some sort of BBb or CC situation. Maybe a conn 20j, or even a 52j? Old, franken or interesting are a big plus.

The guy I traded with for this horn, Shane Pettit, valued it at $4,500 if you don't have a trade but are still interested. I value his judgement.

It comes with a soft, but bulky, wessex case. If you want more pictures or videos of the horn, message me. The horn is located in Pittsburgh PA. I'm willing to drive a few hours around that area. Thanks ya'll!

Sounds very interesting. If you still have it in the beginning of July I would be interested in playing it, I'll be in the 'Burgh for a few days

This horn is fantastic. I am a friend of Shane's and played it frequently.
