Dan Oberloh has one for sale on his website's
Sales Page. It is an Olds doulble rotor bass that I traded it to him for some of the work he is doing on my tuba. He installed custom levers on it, so it should play really nice now.

I have a single trigger Besson 743 closed wrap that I use for a spare. It just doesn't get played unless my 943 is in the shop. Nice playing horn, like new. $700 + shipping.

For my money, the easiest playing bass bone I ever played was a Benge 290. You could play it with as much or as little edge as you like, at volumes from a whisper to a shout. I borrowed one for several years from a church orchestra I played in, and I really miss it. I had never played bass bone regularly until then (lots of tenor bone, euph and tuba, but not bass bone), and it only took me about two or three hours of practice to be as good with this as with my tenor. It provided virtually no obstacles to letting me make music. Just really EASY to play!
