FS: Jupiter XO 1284L 5V CC - $4000 CAD

Hey friends!
For sale is my old faithful of the last 10 years or so, my Jupiter XO 1284L CC tuba. This is a 4/4, 4 piston and 1 rotary. The 1st valve has been vented, and the valves and slides are all fast and smooth. The design of this tuba allows for almost all of the tubing to have single radius bends which means it is extremely free-blowing. I’ve upgraded it with lightweight finger buttons and felts from Joe Sellmansberger. Comes with the original hard case, and the original finger buttons as well as the Sellmansberger ones. There are a few small dents, some lacquer wear on the 1st slide.
This tuba surprised me on every gig, whether it be with full symphony orchestra, opera orchestra, or brass quintet. It truly is a great all-rounder.
Instrument is located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I’d be willing to drive a reasonable distance (without crossing the border) to facilitate a sale. Willing to ship at buyer’s expense and liability.
