SOLD: Holton 105 Recording Tuba 5/4 BBb

Update: this tuba is sold! Thank you for your interest.
Hello, I bought this tuba off a user from this very site about 8 years ago and I used it in a couple community bands and even a local orchestra for much of that time. It is huge but it's fun to play, and you will be heard! Despite its size, because the recording bell is detachable it fit in my Ford Fiesta without issue, and if it fit in that it should fit in just about any car. However, I'm moving and while going through things I haven't used in some time, the tuba is on that list and has to go.
Some notes about the condition: lacquer is worn in many spots and has a few minor dings and dents, as was the general condition when purchased. There is some corrosion and buildup in a few spots that should be addressed by a thorough cleaning. Valves and slides operate smoothly, but the valves will never be as smooth and quiet as nice rotary valves. One water key spring is busted and though it's probably a cheap fix, I've not addressed it. I've attached a rubber band to clamp it shut but still be springy enough to function.
The tuba comes with a large Altieri gig bag, which makes transportation a lot easier. No mouthpiece, or any other accessories included. I'll be posting this where I can but if this doesn't say sold then it's still available. I'm asking $2,000 or best reasonable offer. I'm also willing to drive/meet in the New England area but could travel a little further if needed (and you get a hold of me before the middle of August 2023).
