I bought this tuba new in 2008. It originally came with a Euro shank receiver (which I still have) but replaced it with a standard American shank receiver.
I’ve enjoyed 14 special seasons playing this tuba with Orchestra Iowa. I’ve taken good care of it and the valve action is still smooth as butter.
The gig bag is in great shape and was purchased at the same time as the tuba. The SKB case was purchased in 2012. The wheels were broken by some overzealous baggage handlers on an overseas flight. I’m working on sourcing replacement wheels for it.
I will not ship this. If it’s a reasonable distance in the Midwest, I’m willing to deliver it myself.
