Selling my Besson 983 EE-flat tuba. This is the newer model made in Germany. I love this horn, but I don't use it much anymore. Purchased new in 2011 from Dillon Music with blessings from Matt Walters. Has minor/typical wear from use, but has been well taken care of, and is in excellent condition. I have used this horn in all musical settings-- solo, chamber, and large ensemble.
Was purchased new for $9,300. Asking $7,500. Sadly, Besson does not make these horns anymore.
Comes with an extra tuning slide, hard case, and a gig bag. Send me a message if you are interested, or please share with anyone you think may be interested. Horn is located in North New Jersey. Prefer not to ship, but shipping may be arranged at buyers expense.
