Hi! Im putting out a feeler to either sell or trade my B&S PT 7. I would be willing to work out a trade plus cash for a PT 6 or Thor. I would also be willing to consider other 5/4 C tubas as well (preference for rotary valves). The horn is located currently in Bloomington, Indiana, but will be in Canada after May. The horn does have a few modifications including a floated leadpipe, reversed tuning slides on third valve and main tuning slide, and the Piston Valve Alignment Kit installed. All the modifications were done before I owned the instrument. The horn does have a very warm sound and slots nicely across all registers. In my experience the tuning on this horn is better than a lot of other PT 7s and Neptunes I've played. The only quirk being that A in and below the staff will be sharp with 1+2 regardless but in tune with 3. The main reason for selling the instrument is that I don't really need a 6/4 horn and would prefer to have something a bit smaller, and the 6/4 sound is not something I'm currently looking for in my playing.
