Update: the horn is sold.

I'm putting up my Gronitz PCK for sale, as I recently switched to rotary valves for my CC tuba. I bought this tuba in early 2022 as the second owner and it has served me extremely well in every round for professional auditions, including winning a military band audition. This tuba has THE BEST response of any big tuba I've played, and all registers of the instrument are even and centered, particularly the low range. This tuba has the newer-generation, more efficient leadpipe and Bauerfiend valves, allowing for comfortable, ergonomic, and fast valve action. The tuba comes with a Yamayork gig bag.

Some modifications of the instrument:
-Reseated the receiver to fix the mouthpiece gap (US shank)
-Vented valves 1-4
-Cut the main tuning slide about 1cm on each side to improve intonation
-Aaron Tindall mods to open up the tuba a bit

Asking price is $13,500. Located in the Washington DC area. Unfortunately I can't ship this instrument due to not having a hard case.
