Trade: My 621 copy for Eb tuba

Post by michael_glenn »

Hi all,
I am not interested at selling at the moment. I have a Schiller branded copy of the Yamaha 621 CC tuba. It really plays well! It is lacquered, and I have a gig bag for it. It has four pistons, no fifth valve. The low register is still pretty accessible and can play in tune down to low D.
I am interested in trading for a compensating Eb tuba, such as an older Besson/Boosey & Hawkes, one of the Chinese 3+1, or any other options in a similar value range. I may be willing to add some cash on my end depending on the horn, but not likely enough to make a fair trade with a Besson 983 (or other similar Eb tubas).
I am located in the Cincinnati area. I am not looking at shipping for the trade, but I’m willing to drive to meet halfway depending on location.

Feel free to email me with any questions or offers. I don’t check this site very often, so DMs may take longer for me to respond.
