Hey everyone,
Hoping to trade/sell my horns to downsize and to gain some financial flexibility. Located in Indianapolis, IN and willing to drive up to 5 hours to meet. Pictures will be available on request. Email me at griffinw1278 @gmail.com or dm me for any questions.
Gronitz PCK: Purchased a couple months ago, and I’m the 3rd owner. This tuba is lacquered and in great condition. Just a few dings and lacquer wear, but it’s all cosmetic. Big sound, and surprisingly easy to play for a big 5/4 or small 6/4. Primarily looking to trade for a 4/4 C tuba plus cash, something similar to a B&S 795, Eastman 832, Besson 995, Miraphone 129X, etc. not interested in a rotary C. I would be willing to sell outright for $12,500.
B&S PT10: Purchased back in 2020, and I’m the 3rd owner. Purchased from Chris Hall, this tuba was used in the Met Opera Orchestra. Handmade in 1989 with a detachable lead pipe. Has a decent amount of lacquer wear. Definitely has seen a lot in its almost 40 years, but has an absolutely brilliant sound. For trade, I’m interested primarily a piston F. Something like a 45slp, Yamaha 822, or one of the Chinese copies plus cash. I would be willing to sell outright for $6,500.
I’ll be sad to see these go as they’re both wonderful instruments, but since I’m no longer taking orchestra auditions, I just don’t need them anymore. Thanks!
