Kanstul 5433 for sale

Selling my Kanstul 5433 that I bought from Lee Stofer about a year ago: Here's what Lee said about the horn
"The Kanstul 5433 is a pro upgrade of the Kanstul 900-4B, a 5/4 tuba based on Martin Mammoth tapers. When the Brass Band of
Central Florida bought 2 Kanstul York-copy monster Eb tubas, they wanted something larger than the Kanstul (York) 33 BBb, so I
suggested to investors Bob Carpenter (Orlando Philharmonic) and Tom Treece that they should take the 900-4B, add a 5th valve,
and put a rose brass bell on it. The Brass Band of Central Florida liked it,and it is quite a good 5/4 BBb.
Bob Carpenter is entering retirement mode, and downsizing, so this is Bob's personal 5433. Bob and Tom like to tinker and experiment,
so two or three braces have been moved, etc. My plan is to service the tuba, including small cosmetic clean-up where braces have been
moved. This particular Kanstul 5433 has not just a rose brass bell, but the whole body is rose brass.
Compared to a Miraphone 1291 5-valve BBb, the Kanstul is easier to hold, more ergonomic, and just plays better. The beautiful bell
engraving doesn't hurt, either!
Comes with a Glenn Cronkhite cordura bag. Asking $5500. Willing to ship (buyer would pay for shipping cost and assume risk) but would prefer local pick up in Reno. Willing to drive and meet someone in Northern California as well.
