Hi all,

I'm looking to sell my Kanstul Eb tuba. Asking $7,000. Specs for the tuba are listed here:

https://legacy.kanstul.com/instruments/ ... cert-tuba/

There are a few dents in the bell and some solder from whoever soldered the leadpipe on, but otherwise the instrument is in pretty good shape. The first valve does need to be oiled more frequently than the other three pistons - but once as I'm starting playing is enough. I also have trouble with having the fifth valve being locked when I pick up the horn after a year, but I'm guessing/hoping that you won't have this problem if you play it more often than I did. (My guess is that the instrument needs a good cleaning, but I never got around to doing it myself.)

The tuba comes with a leather Glenn Cronkhite gig bag.

I have a few photos here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

I picked out the horn at Baltimore Brass against the other Ebs available at the time thinking that it'd be a nice all-round horn to have around when I have playing gigs, but I just don't play it enough - my fingers default to CC fingerings when key signatures/accidentals get tough.

As for trades - I'm primarily interested in double French horns, bass trombones (dual rotor, independent preferred), or bass trumpets. I also have an offer for a smaller CC tuba that hasn't been finalized yet, so if you have a (non-Chinese) smallish CC you want to trade I'd listen. And if you have a really cool smaller (again, non-Chinese) F...I really don't need one, but I'd consider it.

Because of the lack of hard case I'd prefer to avoid shipping, but I'd drive a few hours outside of the Seattle area for sales if necessary.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! I'm also happy to take more pictures if that'd help.
