This tuba is in great playing condition and was professionally serviced by Ted Woehr at Volkwein’s music in Pittsburgh after I first bought it more than 10 years ago. Dents were removed and all solder joints were repaired. Ted even removed and re-soldered the bottom bow joints to improve response of the tuba and used a mandrel to precision fit the bells into the bell receivers.
The 4 short action valves have been aligned on this tuba so it does not have the flat open concert F issues, intonation is good on this horn.

1 Conn 24” original forward facing bell (24J)
1 Conn 24” original upright bell (25J)
1 Conn 26” 20k sousaphone bell - This bell fits well in the tuba and produces an enormous, yet focused sound, great for outdoor gigs. I once had a band member from a rock band that was performing after us ask me if my tuba had an amp when I was using this bell but nope, it was all acoustic
1 Wegner tuba stand.
Price: $1,800 - I don’t think you’ll find a better deal for this package. I will not ship the tuba, you must pick it up yourself. I am located in south western NY near the PA border.
Trades: not considered unless you have a large 5/4 or 6/4, 5 valve (4 piston 1 rotor) F tuba to trade. I would consider trade plus cash (I give you my conn tuba plus I give you cash) depending on what you have to trade.
