Key of B-flat, serial number 213198. Manufactured in Abilene,Texas, c. 1966.

Includes excellent condition 6-1\2 AL mouthpiece and like new/barely used Protec model C243 gig bag with all original accessories. Complete setup for a student practice horn, community band, New Horizons/returning to music, doubler, etc.

The slides all pull. The three piston valves move smoothly, and despite the visible loss of plating, they still have good compression/slide pop for a horn of this age. The horn has some dents and dings, see pictures. I had my local music repair shop remove the dents they could reach without removing the bottom bow.

The old lacquer finish has been removed, and this horn is now in raw brass. The polished brass will develop a patina and darken over time, or you can polish it periodically if you prefer.

This horn has been thoroughly cleaned and serviced and is ready for its new owner! Plays nicely. Scale is good for a three-valve horn of this vintage. Solidly constructed, USA-made, durable, fun to play student level horn. Very similar to its corporate cousin/twin, the Olds Ambassador.
