I have a G&W TITANIUM Alan Baer CC mouthpiece that I am selling. I really do like this mouthpiece and have botht eh titanium and stainless versions, I have just decided that I cannot justify the titanium due to cost. I am willing to entertain any reasonable offers, so make me one. You never know if I will say yes.

Having played both, in YOUR opinion what is the difference??
Yeah, and I know what they say about opinions....

Well,
the biggest difference obviously comes when you pick up the mouthpieces side by side and feel the weight difference. The titanium also feels warmer (I think because is a much poorer conductor of temperature than steel) so it tends to stay at "room temp " better. It is extremely soft on the face, I really love the feel.. As for playin charecteristics: The titanium seems to have a bit quicker response and holds together better throughout the range of the instrument, giving an extremely clear and focused sound. The high overtones seem to be a bit more present as well, where as the steel seems to be a little darker (to me) in nature
Hope this helps, feel free to make me an offer.
