I had an uncle buy my aunt a CB radio for a gift once... We all thought it was funny but she wasn't amused! A euphonium would have been a better choice...

No, the CB was actually for my uncle... Guess he couldm't think of anything else to get her. This was more than 20 yrs ago... A sign of the times??? I think not, just a strange uncle!

LV wrote:My wife, a band teacher and professional flutist, dragged along to many a tuba/euph event. She always commented how much more fun the tuba events were comared to the flute events and that the tuba/euph players were a much better bunch (says a lot about "fluties"!). One day at a tuba event she says, "I think I'd like to have a euphonium of my own". So I bought her one. She was happy, so it could work... :D
Does she have any sisters????

Search the archives, we've discussed this before. Tubas & flutes were meant to be together... For some reason!
