Hello All,
My 6/4 Holton CC tuba is for sale. It was cut from BBb by Bob Ruske. Four pistons valves and one rotor. Great orchestral horn, but useful in many other situations. Please email or PM me for more information and/or current pics. Asking $6,800. Find more information on the horn at:

thanks,

To any interested parties:
I have played this horn on a number of occasions, and TJ used it in All the King's Tubas up until about a year ago. This is one of the best large Holtons I have ever played. This will be a great instrument for someone!

I've played TJ's Holton as well. It's a very good instrument for the right job. I brought it in to UT's orchestra for a blow and recieved positive comments, even from the conducting grad assts!
The valves are fast and smooth, tuning slides all move (and are in the right spots) and the tone is almost instantaneous. It's a real treat to play.

Hey TJ,
I've been thinking.... since you won your way into the Eastman doctoral spot on the Holton, maybe you should keep it..... That way no one else will steal any gigs from you with it.
On the other hand, never know.... a certain prof we know may abscond with it.....

TJ,
So, what did you decide? Is the Holton still up for sale? or are ya gonna hoard it for yourself.....
