Hmmm... your request got me to thinking... I have a complete Reynolds sousa valveset. The piston diameter is .976" and the length is 3.688". I thought the Olds 99 pistons were all gone, but checking some parts listings I discovered that the piston you need may be the same as one for a Bach 869 tuba (is that right, Joe?) and are still available from Allied. I have a loose #2 piston but that wouldn't do you any good. Also, I'm curious if many of the King, Reynolds, Olds AND Bach pistons interchanged.

I wouldn't want to get rid of one piston out of the complete valveset but might consider other parts in trade for the valveset. Whatcha got?

Add the Conn 2J(CC) and 4J(BBb) tubas that will interchange valves with the Olds/Reynolds tubas and sousaphones. The Bach Tuba is an Olds after the tooling was sold off in the late 70's(?)
At least that is what has worked for me.
YMMV
