Anyone selling a mute for a big horn?
I'm looking for a performance mute; the Yamaha SB is doing the job fine for practice.
Preferably aluminum, but other alternatives considered. Must be useable in a large 5/4 sized horn.

All our tuba's have 19 inch bells ( Eb and Bb) there is no difference in the mute sizes, the mutes are really well made and speak well in all registers ( no dodgy or fluffy notes).Scooby Tuba wrote:Are the BBb mutes bigger than the commonly available Eb Wick mute? I have a Wick that works well with bass tubas, but is too small for contra bass tubas. It would be great to see larger Wick straight and practice mute come to market.NickJones wrote:do you want a used mute or a brand new? Hey if you fancy joining the beaumaris band we have a set of Aluminium denis wick mutes ( for Eb and Bb)
