Hi;
Sort of a companion piece to my other "WTB" post;
Does anyone have a suitable neck, and perhaps bits for a Martin sousaphone with a .685 bore?
Appreciatively,
Steven

I have a Martin Eb that has a bore that size. The neck reciever is about .670" diameter. New necks for the Martins are not being made but you might be able to make do with a set of Jupiter bits and neck. Don't run out and buy a set of Jupiter parts without first making sure they will fit your horn.
The recommended fix is to buy a Conn neck and bits and change the neck receiver to that of a Conn. Any way you go, expect to spend between $120 and $200 bucks for brass. 30% more for silver plate.

Hi, Dan;
I didn't see a Martin Eb on your site - is it an upright bell tuba? A sousaphone?

It's a Martin 'medium' Eb sousa. I don't have it pictured on the web site. It's sitting in the corner of the shop. I've had it about three years and thought I would do a valve job on it but lost interest. It plays OK... just a little stuffy due to the work pistons. I may get to it one of these days.
